The KTU Publishing House “Technologija” issues printed and e-books, as well as other types of publications. A significant proportion of its output comprises textbooks, monographs, scientific studies and scientific literature for students, as well as scientific periodicals and doctoral theses. Stringent requirements regarding content, language, printing quality, and other factors, are applied to all publications, which are all edited. The publishing house adheres to a publishing ethics policy. “Technologija” issues books that are useful not only to KTU students but also to other Lithuanian university students and practitioners working in these fields.
“Technologija” provides services in the fields of publishing, design, layout and printing. The Publishing House has the capacity to print dictionaries, manuals, encyclopaedias, bibliographies, methodological tools, information sources, memory books, and family histories, and can bind its publications in various ways, including hard binding, glued brochures, paperback, coil binding, and spiral binding.
The Publishing House is committed to developing a contemporary, attractive infrastructure to promote international academic activity and studies and to increase the accessibility of theoretical and applied research, not just in Lithuania, but anywhere in the world. “Technologija” is a member of Crossref and contributes to more reliable access to published scientific information. It is also a member of the Lithuanian Academic Publishers’ Association (LALA).
